Friday, March 12th, 2010

For example, when they are interested in a Latina, they say they like Latin music and want to learn Spanish When a White is interested in a Black girl, he says he likes rap When a guy is interested in a Jewish girl, he says he loves Israel When a guy is interested in a Middle-Eastern girl, he says he like arab food, or turkish music, etc When a guy is interested in a French girl, he says he loves french wine, fashion, etc I mean, why a lot of men seem to be hypocrit when they try to pick up a girl?

Open Question: Can you tell me what Reverse Racism is?

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Because: When a group of people has little or no power over you institutionally, they don’t get to define the terms of your existence, they can’t limit your opportunities, and you needn’t worry much about the use of a slur to describe you and yours, since, in all likelihood, the slur is as far as it’s going to go. What are they going to do next: deny you a bank loan

Open Question: Finish This Short Story: 10 Points To Most Creative?

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Finish this “Round Trip” story! A “Round Trip Story” is a short story that begins with one real-life situation, and usually a daydream occurs, is described, and ends back with that original real-life situation. 10 Points to whoever comes up with the best ending! Be, creative, scary, funny… whatever works! Round-Trip Story Click, Clack, Click, Clack… The sound of my fingers working away at my keyboard Click…Clack I’ve been writing for so long that I don’t even know what the screen says anymore My eyes begin to glaze over Click, Clack…Click The sound of my high heels walking on the marble floor I walk down the halls of an exquisite manor, walls lined with gold vases and rare art The feeling of fine cashmere on my skin and a silk scarf around my neck I catch a glimpse in a mirror and see how I’m dressed; A solid gold barrette in my hair I stand up a little straighter Keep walking; I hear the sound of an elegant grand piano It’s tune echoing against the marble tiles, walls, wrapping around the stone pillars I follow the sound into a room, lined floor to ceiling with leather-bound books The smell of cigar smoke and wine fills my nose I collapse into an over-stuffed leather chair I notice a handful of cigars, still smoldering in the Swarovski tray on the coffee table I cock my heavy head sideways to see who is behind the piano A young woman in an elegant, white evening gown looks up at me over the sheet music The music halts Click… Clack Somebody is walking towards the study I glance back at the woman behind the piano and she is standing at the wet bar She pours a dark, syrupy liquid from the crystal decanter into a dusty glass Click, Clack, Click, Clack… The footsteps get closer Click, Clack… The woman floats to the heavy French doors and greets the owner of the footsteps THEN WHAT?!?!
